I am currently a Senior Economist at the Swiss National Bank's International Policy Analysis unit.

 

Previously I spent three years at the Research Department of the IMF and 18 months, respectively, in the IMF's European Department (French- and Belgian desk) and its Strategy, Policy and Review Department (Emerging Market Division).

 

I hold a PhD from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

 

My research focuses on aspects of international macroeconomics and monetary policy, but also includes issues related to technological change, climate change, structural reforms and the effect of financial crises.
